In keeping with changes in health care delivery and technological advances available in education, the 护理学院 has developed this innovative online Concurrent Enrollment program. The Concurrent Enrollment program is an entry-level BSN program that allows students to complete their degree while remaining in their community.
The Concurrent Enrollment program blends ODU RN-BSN course work with the AAS curriculum. Each semester students will have a schedule that includes in-person AAS nursing courses at the affiliated institution and online RN-BSN courses through ODU全球. For consideration for this program, students must apply separately to the nursing programs of the affiliated institutions.
Concurrent Enrollment students graduate from the AAS program first. Upon completion of all BSN courses and success on the NCLEX-RN, students earn their BSN from ODU. Proof of licensure as a registered nurse must be supplied to the 护理学院 prior to the student being awarded a BSN degree. Students will be able to complete the AAS-BSN course work in two years. All lower-division general education requirements must be completed and posted to students' transcripts prior to entrance into Concurrent Enrollment.
Concurrent Enrollment Application Process
The concurrent enrollment program accepts applicants on a rolling basis for enrollment every Fall, 春季和夏季学期. The nursing application is supplementary to the university application. Prior to applying to the concurrent program, you must complete the online application to the university. Official transcripts must be sent directly to ODU Office of 入学s.
Once accepted to the University as a degree-seeking student, complete the online supplemental nursing application by following these steps:

Concurrent enrollment eligibility is based on the following criteria:
- 大学录取
- 入学 to an affiliated RN program.
- A Cumulative grade point average of 3.0或更高.
- Completion of all lower division departmental and general education courses.
