布莱恩·贝克尔上尉
上校. Brian Becker is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of 艺术 in Finance in December 1994. He received his commission through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps in January 1995, and was designated a naval aviator in May 1997. He received orders to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 106, Naval Air Station Cecil Field, 佛罗里达, for initial F/A-18 training.
一九九八年四月, he completed Fleet Replacement Squadron Training and was assigned to the "Valions" of VFA-15. Becker completed two deployments onboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) and USS Enterprise (CVN 65) supporting Operations Allied Force and Southern Watch. His follow on assignment in October 2001 was to the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center where he served as an instructor at the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School.
Becker was assigned to the "Warhawks" of VFA-97 in November 2004, as the training 办公室r and completed the 2004 Unit Deployment Program (UDP) to Iwakuni, 日本.
He was assigned to the "Jolly Rogers" of VFA-103 as a department head and served as the administrative 办公室r, 运营官, and maintenance 办公室r. Becker completed one deployment onboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. 2007年12月, Becker was assigned to the Navy Personnel Command as the strike fighter assignments 办公室r.
Becker served as the executive 办公室r and commanding 办公室r of the "Tomcatters" of VFA-31 and completed one deployment onboard USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. 2013年11月, Becker was assigned to the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command in Norfolk, 维吉尼亚州, as a joint planner and the J-33 current operations chief. He earned an Executive Masters of Business 政府 from the Navy Postgraduate School in March of 2016.
In February of 2018, he reported to Commander, Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic and served as deputy commodore and commodore through May 2021. Afterwards, he was Chief of 工作人员 for Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic. He is currently serving as the 指挥官 of NROTC Hampton Roads Consortium.
Becker has accumulated over 3,000 flight hours and more than 700 arrested landings. His personal awards include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious 服务 Medal, the Meritorious 服务 Medal, six Strike Flight Air Medals, five Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, 一个带有战斗字母V的, and various other unit and campaign awards.
